🗳 West Vancouver Council Candidate Matrix — v0.2 September 26, 2026

Following our updated methodology and Mayoral assessment, we’ve now applied the same 9-dimension, 100-point model to the candidates for West Vancouver Council.

Our current assessment:

9. Tim Webb — 70/100 | Confidence B
10. Alexis Chicoine — 69/100 | Confidence B
11. Christine Cassidy — 68/100 | Confidence A−
12. Sherry Keane — 67/100 | Confidence B−
13. John O’Flynn — 64/100 | Confidence B−
14. Sylvia Olson — 62/100 | Confidence C+

For Rebecca Lees, Annsabelle Pronych, Earl Babich and Ben Hunter, we currently consider the available evidence insufficient for a responsible score.

Pending does not mean a low score. It simply means we need more information.

Since voters can elect six Councillors, the current Top 6 provides an interesting working benchmark — but it is far from settled.

In particular, the differences around positions #5–#8 are small enough that upcoming candidate forums and additional evidence could easily change the picture.

The current results also reflect different kinds of strengths.

Experienced Councillors such as Peter Lambur, Linda Watt and Scott Snider benefit from substantial municipal and electoral records that can be examined.

Mahsoo Naderi scores strongly through her engineering, municipal infrastructure, organizational management and practical execution background, although she does not yet have an elected Council record.

Candidates including Jaime Webbe, Jay Sidhu, Lee Lau and Melinda Slater bring different strengths in policy, sustainability, community governance, health, civic participation and leadership.

As with our Mayoral assessment, these scores are not endorsements.

They are a snapshot of the evidence currently available.

We will continue testing them through the remaining candidate forums, public records, candidate responses and community input. Scores can move up or down as the evidence improves.
