What this is
A community economy built on trust
NODA is a group of people who do real work for each other, under rules everyone can read. Not a marketplace that takes a cut and disappears, and not a network that only trades in introductions.
What NODA is
A community of verified professionals and the platform that connects them. Members offer services, take on projects together, and refer work to one another. Everyone is a real, named person or a real company — there are no anonymous accounts, because a promise from an anonymous account is not worth anything.
What NODA does
It brings work to its members and keeps the record of what was agreed. It publishes what each member offers, at what price, on what terms. It records referrals so that the person who made an introduction is credited for it. It never competes with its own members for the work.
What NODA is not
It is not an investment, a fund, or a token scheme. The NODA unit is an internal record of account — a way of tracking contribution and credit inside the community. It is not held on deposit, it carries no guaranteed value, and any conversion to money is agreed and invoiced separately, outside the platform.
How it works
Four steps, in order
- 01
Apply
You choose the level of involvement that fits you, from open community access to running a node. Every application is read by a person.
- 02
Build a profile
You write who you are, what you do, and what you are open to. You decide where it may appear. Nothing is published until you have both been verified and given your own final go-ahead.
- 03
Offer or find work
Members publish service cards in the marketplace with scope, deliverables and pricing stated up front. Clients and other members find them there.
- 04
Work, and be credited
A fixed share of every transaction goes to whoever made the introduction, and a share to the community charity fund. The rest goes to the person who did the work.
What we hold to
The rules everyone can read
Real identity
Every member is a named person or a named company. Verification is a condition of being listed, not a badge you can buy.
Honest description
A service says what it actually includes. Regulated work carries the disclaimer the regulator requires, on the page, not in a footnote.
Transparent pricing
Prices or a stated pricing method are published before anyone is in a conversation about money.
NODA does not compete with its members
The platform exists to bring members work. It does not bid against them for that work.
Money moves outside the platform
NODA invoices, and payment is settled between the parties. The platform is the book of record, not a payment processor or a custodian of anyone's funds.
Questions
The ones people actually ask
- Who can join?
- Anyone can join at the community level. Higher levels — contributing, offering services, running a node — depend on what you bring and are reviewed individually. There is no fee to apply.
- What is a Node?
- A Node is a verified member, a person or a company, with their own page in the ecosystem: their services, their terms, and the referral and charity shares they have agreed to. A node is defined and approved by an administrator, and its owner then maintains their own page.
- What is the NODA unit?
- An internal record of account. It tracks contribution and credit inside the community. It is issued and recorded by an administrator, it is not a deposit, it is not a security, and it carries no guaranteed monetary value. Any conversion to money is agreed separately and settled by invoice outside the platform.
- How does the money work?
- Money never enters the platform. Work is agreed between the parties, NODA raises an invoice where it is involved, and payment is settled directly. What the platform keeps is the record: who agreed what, who introduced whom, and what share was due to each.
- What happens to referrals?
- A fixed percentage of every transaction rewards the member who made the introduction, and a further share goes to the community charity fund. Both percentages are published on the node's own page before any work begins.
- Who decides things?
- Every area of the ecosystem has somebody answerable for it, and the list is published to members. Decisions that affect everyone — the terms, the shares, what may be published — sit with governance rather than with whoever happens to be closest to the work.
- What do you do with my data?
- You choose, explicitly, where your information may appear: the members' directory, the public web, the marketplace, the newsletter. Nothing is shared anywhere you have not ticked. Notes on how you work with people — the private, human side of collaboration — are kept in a separate part of the system that public pages have no access to at all.
- Is this an investment?
- No. Nothing here is an offer of securities, a fund, or an investment product, and nobody at NODA gives investment, legal or tax advice. If you are weighing a financial decision, take advice from someone qualified to give it.
Or just ask
If your question is not above, ask it here. The guide answers from this page, so it will say when it does not know something instead of inventing an answer.
