Every journey begins by remembering one's own capacity and meeting the community in person. At this step a visitor attends an approved event or introductory activity and experiences how NODA and IOTA Field work before being asked to commit to anything. Only minimal identity, contact details and agreement to the basic participation terms are recorded.

What this step does not grant
A journey level records a depth of participation, contribution and responsibility. It does not determine human worth, and it does not automatically create membership rights, governance authority, system access, ownership, equity, employment or financial entitlement. These are governed separately under their own rules.
No member-benefit rate has been decided for any step yet. When one is, it will not be an automatic entitlement on every transaction: it will apply only to eligible IOTA Field and commercial-member services or to specifically approved activities. Taxes, third-party hard costs, regulated professional costs, grants and NODA public-benefit funds are governed separately.
